| Our first ever rose was named because we wanted to do something really special for a friend who believed in a thing called Love and us from the very start and naming a rose for her seemed the most obvious choice for The Red Rose Society to make!
So we looked around at all the other ways you could name a rose and discovered they were either really expensive or just a bit rubbish, so left with no choice we decided to create our very own. And when we did we named Betty the very first one! We sent her an email immediatly telling her all about it and much to our delight she absolutely loved it, told us she felt at that moment she was the happiest person alive! We were not surprised by that reaction, we knew she would love it to bits, after all it's not everyday you get to be the first ever Rose that's officially recognized by The Red Rose Society. |
